Farmer's Market

31 August 2012
One of my favorite times I spent in Kansas was the first weekend I moved there. It was right before I had to start work so I had few days to explore Kansas City. One morning, a couple friends and I went into the city where we stumbled upon a lovely farmer's market. From fresh flowers and fruit to the few moments I got to spend on my own, it's become such a fond memory. When shopping at a marketplace, I've come to find certain outfit "musts." You must always wear closed toe shoes, a light jacket, and easy access side bag to make sure the shopping experience is easy every time. Also, never forget the sunglasses!

#camplife

27 August 2012
After 13 weeks, I finally moved back to Colorado from Kansas. Looking back on my time spent in Edgerton, I've come to realize how this summer was the best time of my life. The Lord put me in a state where the future felt like the great unknown. However, He provided in ways I couldn't even imagine. I am now in Colorado a different person with the love and support of all my new friends and experiences while working at camp. Words cannot express how much camp means to me and how incredibly thankful I am that I got to live in Kansas this past summer.

First Impressions

When I moved to Kansas, I entered a new season in my life where everyone around me was new. From my church to my work place, God put me in a place where I didn't know a soul. With that, my natural tendency, as a clothes lover, was to have a go to outfit as a great first impression. This past summer, my favorite trend was colored shorts; they're pleasing to the eye when meeting others for the first time. It works with all types of shirts and made it look effortless.
